Poet’s inspiration, cupid’s cradle, nature’s masterpiece, tourist’s paradise, photographer’s delight, adventurer’s sport venue, hospitality’s epitome, trekker’s base and the third largest city of Nepal. Meet Pokhara, the famous tourist destination of Nepal.
While Kathmandu, with its pagoda temples and artistic palaces, is an excellent example of man’s creation, Pokhara, on the other hand, is the true masterpiece of the nature. Pokhara Day Tour introduces you to pristine lakes, snow-clad mountains, pagoda temples, an unusual golf course, waterfall and much more. All in one place and at a small cost.
Here, let me tell you, in brief, of the major attractions of Pokhara. We will show you many more interesting things and places on the tour.
1. For Sightseeing
2. Boat Riding
A tour of Pokhara is not complete without a boat ride on the Phewa Tal. Just ride it to the middle of the lake, where there’s the popular Barahi Temple, settled in a small island in the Phewa.
3. Paragliding (Fly Like a Bird And See The World From Above)
Would not you like to see the world from the bird’s point of view? If yes, then we shall take a short hike from Pokhara to Sarangkot, where you can hire artificial wings (I mean, paragliders), and then take a scary jump off the cliff and soar in the free air like a bird.
For your information, the greatest paragliders, with wind on their side and by take-off from high altitudes (higher than Sarangkot), can manage 1 to 2 hours of flight, and in that time, you can cover hundreds of miles (just watch out for planes though and, yeah, eagles too). The latest news in circulation was about two brave youths of Nepal, Boivin’s disciples perhaps, on a freaky mission to paraglide from the summit of the world i.e. Mount Everest.
